Example: Replace Partial Strings

A modified dataset will be created, containing the replaced string values, or with the rows originally containing the specified strings removed from the dataset.

Example 1: Replacing a value

Initial dataset:

Field selection: Field 1

Find Variable: Str%

Replace Variable: W

Resulting dataset:

Example 2: Remove a string

When removing a string from the field, the entire row that contained the string will be deleted from the dataset.

Initial dataset:

Field selection: Field 1

Find Variable: String7
